Eviction Crisis in Virginia

The Eviction Crisis in Virginia exhibit broke down the alarming trend of high eviction rates in the city of Richmond by threading together social issues and housing trends to understand the myriad of causes. Eviction Crisis in Richmond was Displayed at the 2019 Virginia Governor’s Housing Conference and then the Richmond Public Library Main Library where it stayed until mid 2020.

Based on the work of Matthew Desmond and inspired by the National Building Museum’s Evicted exhibit, HOME created Eviction Crisis using data from Princeton University’s Eviction Lab, VCU’s RVA Eviction Lab, and other sources.
